Remember that post this summer about the hats we were making?
Operation Christmas Child has started up again for the year, so we needed to finish sorting the hats and get them ready to deliver.
The Kalebaugh girls made some hats too, so they brought them when they had their lessons last week and helped Mom and Melody separate and bag them up.
Can you tell Melody is the artistic one in the family? She doesn't like to do the same thing repeatedly, so each one of her hats was unique.
Modeling our work Would you believe I was the one who suggested making a weird face? We thought Crystal looked awfully cute in her "baby" bonnet. Smile, Beck!
We sorted the hats by size and put them in garbage bags. It was fun to see all the different colors and varieties of hats spread out on the floor. As of that day, we had a total of 414 hats, but Mom is still making them since we're not done packing shoeboxes yet. We'll put up pictures of the packing soon.
