The evening of our blueberry picking day, we came home,
grabbed a quick supper and headed out again for some bowling.
The bowling alley in Dixon was having a special of $1 shoe rental and $1 games.
We invited friends from church to join us and ended up with a group of 12 people.
The place was so busy, we had to wait a half hour until a lane opened up, so we went over to DQ across the road to fortify ourselves for the wait and maintain our strength.
We had to be ready for those strikes, right?!
Zoe Z. and Jessica R.Here's our first bowler, Zoe, ready for action.
About halfway through the night,
About halfway through the night,
they turned off the regular lights which left only the black lights and strobe lights.
We had fun seeing what parts of our attire glowed in the dark.
Zoe stood out the most since she had almost an all white shirt.
Zeb Z. John Z.
Reid D.
Jamie R.
Notice Zoe in the background? Whenever I took a picture,
she tried to get in the shot with a silly pose.None of us were very good bowlers (we were lucky to make it over a hundred), but we had a fun time together laughing at our mistakes and cheering for the strikes and spares!
